Atlanta Giotto Wrap Around Packer (2015)

Overview

This Atlanta Giotto is a single-lane wrap-around case packer for end-of-line carton packaging of PET bottles, rated at more than 20 cartons per minute. It erects the wrap-around case around the bottle group from a flat blank held in an inclined magazine, and closes it with a hot-melt glue unit. Neutral and printed carton both run on the machine.

The machine was built in 2015 and ran on a mineral water bottling line until early 2025, packing 1.5 l PET bottles in 4 x 3 cartons and 1.0 l PET bottles in 5 x 3 cartons. It was operated alternately with a shrink-film bundling process, so its operating hours are low.

Control is a Siemens S7 PLC with a touchscreen HMI panel. Infeed and outfeed conveyors, motorisation and the CE control panel are part of the machine.

Condition

Used, in very good condition with a low number of operating hours. The machine was in production until early 2025 and has since been dismantled and moved into storage. It can be inspected dismantled in the warehouse by appointment.
