Krones AirCo Air Conveyor (2011)

Overview

This Krones AirCo is an air conveyor for empty PET bottles, built at the end of 2011. The bottles hang by their neck ring and are driven by air from fan units along the conveyor. The installation runs over a total length of approx. 60 m with seven fan units, curves, a diverter and several declining sections.

The conveyor sections hang from stainless steel support stands and run at ceiling level across the hall, so the floor beneath stays free for traffic and other machines.

Condition
