Krones Pressant Universal 1N Glass Depalletizer (2023)

Overview

This Krones Pressant Universal 1N is a container sweep-off depalletizer for glass bottles, built in 2023. It takes the full pallet, lifts each container layer off the stack and sweeps it onto the discharge table, while a separate handling module removes the layer pads and the empty pallets.

The machine is built in the Krones enviro design for reduced energy and media consumption. Lifting unit, sweep-off station, layer centring and the 15-lane discharge table all run on SEW servo drives, layer scanning is pneumatic, and the packing material handler works with a suction gripper frame and a vacuum ejector. Operation is from a Krones touch terminal with a production dashboard and a separate control page for the pallet conveyor; the throughput display is set to 14,000 containers per hour. The machine handles several container formats on flat pallets of 1,200 x 1,000 mm.
